1:1 Executive communication coaching or training

Tackle your fears, find your voice and make your words infectious - in private.

One on one executive communication coaching is for those business leaders wanting private, focused and extended communication support.

These sessions are completely bespoke and dependent upon the specific brief of the client. The role of the leadership communication coach is to understand the client, communication style, current communication skills, their personal and organisational objectives and the communication frameworks and tools with which they must work.

Prior to commencing your session with your communication coach, Marie will spend time auditing your communication assets and reviewing them. It is likely she will meet with your comms or marketing team if you have one, to gain their perspective on your performance and areas of improvement. As well as the environment in which you’re communicating, and their desired outcomes.

Communication Coaching or Training

Communication training is essentially the starting point during which the participant is taught the requisite background theory and skills and given the opportunity to put them into practice. It is delivered over a short period of time either over 2 days or multiple half day sessions.

Communication coaching is longer term and provides the participant with the opportunity to further their develop their skills in accordance to their current and priority communication requirements. For instance, an upcoming town hall, presentation or media opportunity.

Ideally, both training and coaching would work in tandem.

Training and coaching location

Executive communication coaching and training can be held at the participants office or at an external location. What is of importance is a comfortable private space, with a large digital screen and no distractions. Location can be worked out at the time of booking.

Communication coaching duration

The duration of communication coaching sessions is entirely up to the participant. The best time to stop or reduce coaching sessions is when the participant feels confident and fully equipped to successfully embark on their leadership communication journey.

Ongoing support on request

Those leaders who have undertaken our executive communication coaching program are prioritised for support as and when they may need it.

What Clients Say.

“We came to Marie with a product and close to no idea how to sell it. Not only did she help Purifas articulate its key ideas and messages, she did it in a way that fostered a brand, grabbed attention and elevated the esteem of the product to new heights. Her ability to articulate ideas and facts  showed how great of an understanding she had of our brand and its position, and the future direction we needed to take it. Marie is exceptional at highlighting our point of difference and making sure we stood out amongst the rest and for that Purifas is forever indebted to her.”

Ibrahim Samaan, CEO, Purifas.

“Marie’s outstanding communication experience and expertise not only makes her a great trainer – but great at spotting what is hindering the communication of key messages. Her training not only prepared me for a new media facing role, but also helped identify the gaps that the organisation needed to fill to make the narrative compelling and believable – regardless of who was sharing it. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in a serious and thorough lesson in communication”.

Sarah Pike, Former VP Marketing & Communication

“Marie looks at communication on an individual and organisational level – before getting to the specifics of communicating with media. Her training is thorough, well put together, highly engaging and effective. I highly recommend her to anyone with leadership aspirations and any organisation that takes its brand and reputation seriously.”

Tamara Jawad - PR & Public Affairs Manager

“Marie did exactly what she said she would. She listened. She took my thoughts and aspirations for the business out of my mind and perfectly articulated them in the most beautifully simple and inspiring way. Our Vision, Mission and Values are set and perfectly capture what it is that we are trying to achieve. And most importantly, are crystal clear and exciting for all staff current and future to embrace and proudly work towards.”

A personal Acknowledgement of Country example.

The day I learnt how to take a standard Acknowledgement of Country example and make it my own. I share this story from a personal, not professional place. Let me start by saying that I am a well-intentioned yet ignorant ally of Indigenous people. So for instance, I’ve always thought an Acknowledgement of Country, the…

How To Structure A Business Presentation

Good business presentations take a lot of consideration, planning and practice – no matter how good a ‘performer’ the presenter is. The basic elements of a good presentation include a structure, a story, creative production (visual / audio / video / props) and a good speaker. Each aspect takes work to pull together a truly…

Should you fake having a city office until you make it out of the garage?

Let me start by openly admitting that I did. It was the year 2006, I was in my 20s and working out of my parents’ house in Bankstown, an area once perceived to be a hot spot for drug dealers, not PR agencies. I was so embarrassed and went to lengths to ensure my address…
